Stagecoach added extra journeys to service 256 between North Bransholme, Bransholme, Hull City Centre, Barton Market Place and Barton Wren Kitchens Parrot Street site from Monday 7th September, to support the late afternoon/evening shift at Wren. From Hull Paragon Interchange, extra 'short' journeys operate to Wren at 1435 and 2330 Monday to Friday, and from Wren back to North Bransholme there is an additional full route journey at 0020 Monday to Friday night/Tuesday to Saturday morning.
Whilst these additions are designed for employees of Wren Kitchens, the 256 is a public bus service. The 2330 - essentially an in-service positioning journey - provides a 30 minute later last departure from Hull to Barton. The 0020 picks up at Hull Truck Theatre at 0045, an hour later than the previous last departure at 2345 on route 255.
