From Monday 3rd November, EYMS are tweaking their 360/361 services between Scunthorpe, Crowle (service 361 only) and Goole that were introduced in September. Some journeys will have slightly amended times to improve punctuality. The weekday 0810 service 360 from Garthorpe to Goole will start in Eastoft at 0759 while the weekday 1715 service 360 from Goole to Garthorpe moves to 1725 and extends to Luddington and Eastoft.
As expected, EYMS have confirmed they will be resuming operation of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council tendered Sunday and Bank Holiday service on route 155 between South Cave (one journey each way only), Gilberdyke, Howden and Goole from Sunday 2nd November. Enterprise Coaches had taken over the tender from EYMS just last month.
EYMS will be altering their Goole to Scunthorpe services from next month. From VOSA:
PB0000328/455 - EAST YORKSHIRE MOTOR SERVICES LTD,
252 ANLABY ROAD, HULL, HU3 2RS Variation Accepted by SN: Operating between Goole and Scunthorpe given
service number 360/361 effective from 03-Nov-2014. To amend Timetable.
EYMS have put their Kidderminster based operation Whittles up for sale, reports busandcoach.com. EYMS have owned Whittles for a decade and the decision is apparently due to several years of operating losses. If a sale cannot be completed, closure has not been ruled out. Last year EYMS sold their Manchester based Finglands operation.
