East Yorkshire introduced changes across many routes in their network yesterday - Sunday 28th January. Overall these are a mix of East Riding of Yorkshire Council Bus Service Improvement Plan Plus funded enhancements, and commercially driven alterations. It is with a commercial change that I will begin.
Service 66 between Hull Paragon Interchange and Hessle Square via Hull Royal Infirmary, Fiveways and the Boothferry Estate has been increased to operate every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes, up from every 20 minutes Monday to Friday daytimes and a horrible every 20-25 minutes on Saturday daytimes. Evenings and Sundays remain hourly.
This isn't a return to the pre-COVID service level, but it's much better than this time last week!

I see the boss of EY is continuing to complain about bus lane changes while still (even after these changes) running fewer services compared to pre-covid. Why does he think he needs all day bus lanes for fewer buses?
