On Monday 5th September, Stagecoach added some new Monday to Saturday evening peak 'shorts' to Scunthorpe Town Circular service 1, on the section between Scunthorpe Bus Station and Scunthorpe Hospital. Between 1605 and 1805 from Scunthorpe Bus Station, and 1613 and 1813 from Scunthorpe Hospital, a 20 minute frequency is provided on these 'shorts', in addition to the main half hourly service.

Any idea what route these take or where they turn? Not sure I see the point in these journeys since the 1/7/8 already provide a 15 minutes combined frequency, albiet not perfectly spaced on the into Scunthorpe direction. If these are aimed at Hospital commuters, you would surely expect a similar provision in the morning peak (although I appreciate shift times likely clash with school runs, so may not be possible resource wise).
As per bustimes.org stop listing and map I think leaving Scunthorpe Town Centre they stay on Doncaster Road until Highfield Avenue, then as per inbound clockwise main route journeys.
Yes it takes a very tight turn onto Highfield Avenue which, having seen it, requires an equal amount of judgement and luck.
