EYMS Hull Minor Changes

Today, Sunday 27th September, has seen EYMS divert more services around the Hull City Centre "bus loop" on their inbound journey, improving access to areas of the City Centre located away from Paragon Interchange, such as Princes Quay and the Old Town. All Anlaby Road services (excluding EYMS journeys on the 350 Humber Fastcat?) will now use the City Centre loop except between 1500 and 1800 when they will operate direct to the Interchange via Ferensway.

Also today punctuality changes have been made to West Hull services 103, 105, 115, 151, 152, 153 and 154.

The changes to 151/152 also include a couple of minor improvements, with an extra 152 journey from Anlaby Red Lion to Hull at 0715 (M-F) and the 1506 from Willerby Square on 151 now running M-S instead of Saturdays only. The latter passes Anlaby Red Lion at 1518, filling a previous 40 minute gap on M-F, but there is still a 36 minute gap between the following 152 at 1538 and a (non-standard) 155 at 1614.
As a result of the changes to Anlaby Road routes, there is also better spacing on Hull-bound journeys along Anlaby High Road between 151/2/3 and 154, with even 10-minute gaps for much of the day instead of the previous alternate 7/13 minute pattern.

Actually it's not quite correct to say that ALL Anlaby Road buses operate via the city centre loop except between 3pm and 6pm, as it all depends how you define 'Anlaby Road'. Routes 60/61/62/64 (Priory Road) and 66/155 (Boothferry Road) operate direct to the interchange between 9am and 6pm - which I imagine must cause some confusion to passengers boarding on the inner section of Anlaby Road. It is only the buses from what I would call Anlaby High Road (151/2/3/4) that use the loop during main shopping hours.
