- The first departure from Pocklington Monday to Saturday is extended to start back in York at 0635, replacing the previous 0637 service 46 from York to Pocklington that connected into the 0720 (0735 Sat) X46 from Pocklington to Hull
- A new Monday to Saturday 1905 X46 Hull to Pocklington is added, which Monday to Thursday will be the last departure from Hull. Previously the last departure Monday to Thursday was at 1815
- As part of improved services on the Hull to Beverley corridor most inbound journeys in Hull will operate via the city centre loop.
Worth the wait, or worth waiting a bit longer?

Another important change to the Mon-Sat morning service towards Hull is that the 0848 from York is replaced by journeys at 0815 and 0915. As a result, the standard hourly frequency from York begins with the 0815, rather than the 1008,and there is a similar improvement from Pocklington where the 0933 to Hull is replaced by departures at 0905 and 1005. The 0815 fills the gap of over 2 hours between the 0637 service 46 and the 0848 X46 and gives a Pocklington arrival at 0853.
Although clearly an improvement, one possible downside is that on Mondays to Fridays Concessionary passes may not be used on the 0815 until Bishop Burton (timed at 0934), meaning that the first available concessionary journey from Pocklington and Market Weighton to Beverley and Hull is over half an hour later than it used to be.
