West Yorkshire Metro's latest service change booklet notes that Stagecoach in Hull's X62 from Hull to Leeds will switch from the City Bus Station to the National Express Coach Station in Leeds at some point after October 28th. In reality this means the service will change stops in Leeds to the opposite side of the shared bus/coach station concourse.
The X62 also has a timetable change at the end of the month

Are they using coaches from the change date?
Hull is also having a swap round. From the 5th November a number of services are moving stands at Hull interchange. The 350 and Humber Flyer will operate from bay 30. Notice at side of EYMS desk in the travel centre.
Something has to go down the far end of the interchange, but selfishly can't say I'm impressed with the Barton services going down to Stand 30
Any reason for the move? There is currently a logical system which sees the eastbound buses going from the lowest numbered stands, the northbound from the middle numbered stands and the westbound services from the highest numbered stands (someone can probably explain that better than me). There's already a couple of exceptions (e.g. the 46 from Stand 1) and this change is going to further mess that up
EYMS stand changes as advertised on there website.
Hull Paragon Interchange
From Monday 5 November there will be changes to departure bays for some buses in the Interchange.
Services 60/60A62/64/64C will depart from Bay 9.
Service 66 will depart from Bay 7.
Services 151/152/153/154 will depart from Bay 8.
Services 155/X55/X56/X57/984 will depart from Bay 18.
Service 350 will depart from Bay 30
So the 153 and the 155 will depart from stands 10 apart from each other. Has someone drawn the new stand numbers at random out of a hat? Or am I missing the logic behind these changes?
This is the info on the note in the travel centre at Hull.

So still roughly west to east as the stand numbers increase, but with the 155/X55 etc and 350/HF 'chucked in at random'
BTW Thanks for the info
The reason for the move is so that buses can swing round when coming from the layover and are not been blocked by vehicles in stand's 1 to 3
Fair enough, but why not just move everything three stands 'up'?
Looking at the new X62 timetable on the Stagecoach Hull website the 10.30 & 14.00 from Hull and return. (Saturday only) From the new timetable looks to run 6 days a week
So why leave services in Stand 3 if that is the reasoning? Why not just do as HT said?
At least we can look forward to a Bus station full of lost and confused people come the first week of November!
The reason why stand 3 is not affected is probably because the buses used on services 1A and 46 are smaller vehicles and, as such, don't cause a problem. Also the M13 and M14 only operate two journeys early on Sunday and Bank Holiday mornings between Easter and the end of October and so are not likely to cause problems either.
