The timetable for service 350 Humber Fastcat (Hull-Barton-Scunthorpe) during April's roadworks, closing the A1077 between Barton and South Ferriby, is now on EYMS's website. Both Stagecoach in Hull and Stagecoach in Lincolnshire's Scunthorpe depot will be putting extra vehicles onto the service Monday to Saturday, which be diverted via the A15, B1206 (Elsham Top) and the Low Villages (Worlaby, Bonby, Saxby and Horkstow). End to end journey time is extended by about half an hour.
Thankfully the main half hourly frequency, along with evening and Sunday journeys are retained, with largely normal times between Hull and Barton, and South Ferriby and Scunthorpe Monday to Saturday. One noticeable gap though is no 0750 from Barton to Hull, the most popular commuter bus into Hull, though the Easter Holidays would have reduced usage.
As someone who uses the bus between Barton and South Ferriby once or twice a week it's inconvienent, but the road does need resurfacing and no time will be a good time to do it. I myself have been unlucky enough to hit a pothole on it.
No details on the revised 450 (Barton-Brigg) timetable yet.
