Stagecoach added a small number of extra Monday to Friday afternoon journeys to service 251 between Grimsby and Louth on Monday 5th January, over and the above the standard hourly daytime frequency. Additional services depart Grimsby at 1425 and 1525, providing a half hourly service from Grimsby between 1355 and 1555. From Louth there is an additional 1645 departure, slotting in between the 1615 and 1715 services.
School day variant of the 251, route 51B, became a 'closed door' service at the same time.
