From Monday 2nd September, East Yorkshire made some Monday to Friday morning improvements to Hull area services 56 and 57, which link Asda Bilton, Longhill, Holderness Road and Hull City Centre, before the 57 continues to/from Hull Royal Infirmary, Hessle Road and Hessle Square.
The 0600 service 56 from Paragon Interchange to Asda Bilton now operates as a service 57, starting back in Hessle at 0530, 45 minutes before the previous first 57 from Hessle at 0615. In the other direction, extra morning peak services have been added from Asda Bilton into Hull City Centre. Between the 0701 service 57 departure and the 0843 service 56 departure inclusive, the number of services into Hull City Centre has improved from ten to twelve, with two extra service 56's providing the increase.
