Stagecoach win Bridlington Park and Ride?

Going by the below two VOSA registrations, it would appear that Stagecoach have won the Bridlington Park and Ride contract, and will also be starting a Hull to Bridlington service.

Don't think Stagecoach have done their homework with this one. The park and ride site is poorly used as it's in the wrong place, the council rigorously enforce the bus make take to town as well. Any deviation and they jump like a ton of bricks. EYMS attempted to change it last year, to a better alternative route, but were told to change it back.

From what I understand the drivers operating the P&R duties are facing very long days too. As for a Hull to Bridlington run, I'm sure that's only in there to get the buses to and from Brid. And what happens when they breakdown, how long for a replacement bus?


Another case of the lowest bid gets the contract without really thinking the whole thing out first.
